Want to Help a Family in Need This Thanksgiving?

If you’re looking to help a family in need this Thanksgiving, local catering company Insatiable EATS is giving you that chance.

The company recently announced that it has prepared a Farm-to-Feast Thanksgiving-to-Go menu, and for every order taken, they will donate to feed a family in need.

Insatiable EATS will be working with Citizens 4 Humanity, a Hampton Bays-based volunteer group that has been cooking and delivering holiday meals to East End single mother families in need since 2010.

Local chef and owner of Insatiable EATS, Marco Barrila, will be spearheading the kitchen efforts to create gourmet meals of roasted turkey, side dishes and farm fresh pieces to prepare for each meal given to the families in need.

The meals are all produced by volunteers.

Citizens 4 Humanity, which focuses on single mother families living below the poverty line, donates an average of 20 to 25 meals per holiday.

All proceeds go directly towards buying the food.

Donations can be made until Nov. 23.
