Barnes & Barnes Wins Big in Long Island Business News Reader Rankings
Melville Law Firm Named Best Litigators in Annual Reader Survey

Barnes & Barnes P.C. has been selected as “Best Litigation Law Firm” in the 2022 Reader Rankings recently released by Long Island Business News. That honor caps off a highly productive “awards season” for the Melville-based firm.
In addition to earning the top spot in the “Litigation Law Firm” category, Barnes & Barnes was also recognized as a finalist in the categories for “Best Business Formation Law Firm” and “Best Corporate Law Firm.” The Reader Rankings asks readers to select the top performers from among businesses with whom they collaborate. According to LIBN Associate Publisher Jenna Natale, inclusion on the annual list signifies, “A recommendation with confidence signaling an established trust that can only be earned through hard work, integrity, grit, and positive results.”
“We’re thrilled to receive this award since it is voted on by the Long Island business community we serve,” said Matthew J. Barnes, the firm’s co-founder. “It means a lot to a firm our size to stand out among so many larger law firms and peers we all admire. Our whole team is honored by this recognition and proud of the work we’ve done to earn it.”
