Celebrate Pentecost at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church
The Feast of Pentecost on May 31, 2015 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Join us for our patronal feast day.

The Divine Liturgy (including Vespers and outdoor procession) for the Feast of Pentecost will be held on Sunday, May 31, at 9:30 AM at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 369 Green Avenue, East Meadow. The service will be conducted in English. A festal luncheon will follow the services.
In the liturgical services of the feast of Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit (Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 2) is celebrated together with the full revelation of the divine Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The fulness of the Godhead is manifested with the Spirit’s coming to man, and the Church hymns celebrate this manifestation as the final act of God’s self-disclosure and self-donation to the world of His creation. For this reason Pentecost Sunday is also called Trinity Day in the Orthodox tradition. Thus, Pentecost is patronal feast day of Holy Trinity parish.
