Four Injured in Hookah Lounge Fight: Police

A total of 12 people were involved in the fight but the others fled before officers arrived, police say.

EAST MEADOW, NY - Four men were injured in a fight involving a dozen people at a hookah lounge in East Meadow on Friday morning, according to Nassau Police.

Officers responded to the Kasbah Hookah Lounge on 2051 Hempstead Turnpike at about 3:30 a.m. and found the four men all between 21 and 25 years old with cuts on their face and body from a box cutter, police said.

It is unknown who used the box cutters. The others involved in the fight fled before police arrived.

The four injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
