We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. A Georgia man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning after police say they stopped him driving the wrong way on Hempstead Turnpike.According to police, a Highway Patrol officer saw Kip T. Hodge, 50, of Conyers, Georgia, driving a 2017 ford west in the eastbound lanes of Hempstead Turnpike, near Meadowbrook Avenue in East Meadow, at 3:28 a.m.The officer stopped Hodge and determined that he was driving drunk. he was placed under arrest without incident. No one was injured. Hodge is charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. he is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday.
