Nassau Man Maces Neighbor Over Dog Pee: Police
BREAKING: The attack may have been triggered by the neighbor's dog urinating on his lawn, police say.

Nassau police arrested an East Meadow man Tuesday night after he assaulted his neighbor, possibly because of a dog urinating on his lawn.
According to police, David Likhtiger, 38, of Chaladay Lane, went to his 75-year-old neighbor's home and began banging on the door. When the neighbor answered, police say Likhtiger sprayed him in the face with either pepper spray or mace. Police say the incident may have been caused by the neighbor's dog peeing on Likhtiger's lawn.
Likhtiger was arrested without incident. He was charged with second-degree assault and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
