Trio Held Down And Robbed Hotel Guest: Nassau Police

Police say they stole the man's cell phone and cash, but he was able to get away.

A trio from the Bronx was arrested Friday after police say they assaulted and robbed a guest at a hotel in Westbury.

According to police, a 22-year-old man agreed to meet the three at the Red Roof Inn at 699 Dibblee Drive just before 3 a.m. on Friday. The three held down the man and stole several items, including his cash and phone, police said. The man was able to flee the room and call the police.

When the police arrived, they were able to locate the three and arrest them without incident.

Police arrested El-Shabazz Oden, 19, of E 227th Street; Stefon Bland (also known as Sade Brown), 23, of Simpon Street; and Rodneylee Adams (also known as Milan Adams), 22, of Magenta Street.

They were each charged with two counts of second-degree robbery and second-degree assault. They were arraigned on Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
