Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. A Woodbury woman was arrested by state police on the Southern State Parkway Tuesday after police say she was found to be driving drunk with two children in the car. According to state police, a trooper was on patrol on the Meadowbrook State Parkway when he saw Jacquelyn A. Morgan, 28, of Jericho Turnpike, driving erratically. Police say she was drifting in and out of her lane and nearly struck the trooper's cruiser. The trooper followed her and pulled her over on the eastbound Southern State. the trooper determined that Morgan was driving drunk with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old child in the car. The children were released to the custody of their father.Morgan was charged with aggravated DWI (Leandra's Law), Unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child.Photo: New York State Police
