Cops: Man Stole Designer Watches in Hicksville
A witness saw the man take a Michael Kors display case, followed him, and called 911, police say.

A White Plains man was arrested Monday after removing an entire Michael Kors watch display case from a department store in Hicksville Monday night, authorities said.
Nassau Police say Kevin Pedrow, 34, was spotted at 7:54 p.m. removing the display case at the Macy’s at the Broadway Mall and then leaving the mall. A witness followed him and saw him enter a vehicle and drive away. The witness entered his own car, began following the man and called 911, providing the vehicle description and licence plate number.
Police located and stopped the car shortly after it entered the northbound ramp of the Cross Island Parkway from the Long Island Expressway. After identifying Pedrow, he was placed under arrest without incident, police said.
