FARMINGDALE — On CYO Day, the Farmingdale State College Rams delivered a complete performance, putting on a clinic in a convincing 92–60 victory over the St. Joseph’s Bears of Brooklyn.
The Rams led 42–32 at halftime after a competitive opening stretch that saw the lead change hands several times. With 6:20 remaining in the first half and the Rams clinging to a 26–22 advantage, Michael Notias drilled a three-point jumper to extend the lead to seven. From that moment on, Farmingdale seized control and never looked back.
Notias led all scorers with 15 points, setting the tone for a balanced Rams attack. Farmingdale continued to build momentum after the break, using pressure defense and strong play on the glass to put the game out of reach.
The second half was highlighted by a standout performance from player of the game Kentrell Evans, who recorded a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Evans’ presence inside fueled a dominant stretch that saw the Rams steadily widen the margin.
In all, five Farmingdale players finished in double figures, underscoring the team’s depth and unselfish play.
With the win, the Rams improved to 9–2 overall and moved to 2–0 in conference play, continuing their strong start to the season.
