Firefighters Extinguish Truck Fire in Farmingdale
The fire took place in the old Spartan Diner parking lot on Monday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to a truck fire in Farmingdale at 3:18 p.m. on Monday.
Fire Engine 1-5-2 quickly extinguished the fire, which took place at the old Spartan Diner parking lot at the intersection of Conklin Street and Route 110, according to a post on the East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company Inc. Facebook page.

Engines 1-5-1 and 1-5-7, Heavy Rescue 1-5-4, Fire Police 1-5-16, second assistant chief Joe Iuzzini and third assistant chief Duane Welliver also responded to the scene, the post reports.
All units were under the command of chief of department Joe Wisz.
