Bandage-Faced Man Robs Nassau Bank
He stole the money and then fled on foot, using the bandage to cover his face.

A man with a bandage wrapped around his face robbed a bank in Woodmere Wednesday morning, police say.
According to detectives, the man entered the Chase Bank at 1000 Railroad Ave. at 10:52 a.m. and handed the teller a demand note. The teller complied and handed the robber and undisclosed amount of cash.
The man then fled on foot, and was last seen heading north on Mosher Avenue.

The robber is described as a white man in his mid 30s, about 6 feet tall, wearing an Ace bandage around his face, a black baseball cap, a light shirt with dark sleeves and tan cargo shorts.
Detectives ask that anyone with information about this robbery call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
