Two Bodies Found In Burning Car In Nassau Not A Homicide: Police

UPDATED: Nassau police say that both bodies found in the car were female. However, there is no apparent criminality, according to police.
According to Newsday, police said it appeared to be a double suicide. The investigation is still ongoing.
ORIGINAL STORY: Nassau police are investigating a homicide after two bodies were found inside a burned-out car in Valley Stream on Sunday night.

According to police, officers responded to a call for a car fire in the Sears parking garage at the Green Acres Mall at 11:06 p.m. After the fire was put out, police found two bodies inside the car. They have not yet released the identity of the victims. Police believe one was male and the other female.
