A car parked on Carlyle Street in Woodmere was broken into on Aug. 10 and the interior was ransacked.
Christian Cruz, 33, of Rosedale, was arrested on Aug. 11 and charged with shoplifting from TJ Maxx, located on Rockaway Boulevard in North Lawrence.
