Man Pulled Knife On Employee During Robbery: Police
Police say the man was trying to shoplift, and threatened the employee when he was caught.

A Queens man was arrested after police say he robbed a Walmart and pulled a knife on an employee while trying to escape.
According to police, Mark Ware, of Dormans Road, entered the Walmart in the Gren Acres Mall at 6:10 p.m. on Monday, and began to take things off the shelves. When he was confronted by a loss prevention employee, Ware pulled out a knife and threatened to stab the employee.
However, Ware was apprehended by mall security and arrested by police officers who responded to the scene.

He was charged with first-degree robbery and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
