Man Stole Cash After Breaking Into Nassau Gym Locker: Police
Police say he used keys in the gym locker to steal cash from a man's car as the victim worked out.

HEWLETT, NY – A 44-year-old man broke into a gym locker, removed a set of keys and then stole money from a car while the car's owner was working out, Nassau Police said.
Sean Sevetar, of North Woodmere, is charged with third degree burglary, two counts of petty larceny and fourth degree criminal mischief.
According to police, a 25-year-old man was working out at Retro Fitness located at 1225 Hewlett Plaza in Hewlett on the afternoon of Nov. 10 when he saw that his gym locker was broken. The man noticed that his his belongings had been moved, but nothing was missing.

After leaving the gym, the man walked to his 2012 Volkswagen and discovered the glove compartment was open. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the vehicle, police said.
A subsequent investigation determined that Sevetar had entered into the man's locker and removed car keys, police said.

Sevetar took the keys and entered the man's vehicle, police said. After removing cash, Sevetar again entered the gym and placed the keys back into the man’s locker, police said.
Sevetar will be arraigned on Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
