Multiple Shots Fired Into Nassau Home

Police say more than a dozen shots were fired into the home while the occupants slept. No one was injured, though.

Nassau police are searching for the people who shot multiple times into a home in Valley Stream early Saturday morning.

According to police, a woman heard shots being fired outside the front of her home on William Street at 3:28 a.m. and called police. The police investigation found no damage to her home. However, her neighbor's home had been shot multiple times. Approximately 13 shell casings were recovered.

There were three people asleep in the neighbor's home during the shooting: a 63-year-old woman, a 26-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman. None of them were injured.
