Nassau Man Charged In April Mugging: Police

BREAKING: Police say the man, along with two accomplices, mugged a man as he was walking down the street.

An Inwood man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with a robbery from April, Nassau police say.

According to detectives, Raquan Howard, 18, of Clinton Avenue, was arrested on Wednesday while at Nassau County Court on an unrelated charge. Police say that on April 28, Howard and two other men, who have yet to be arrested, approached a 51-year-old man who was walking on Wasner Avenue and took the man's phone and cash.

Howard is charged with first- and second-degree robbery. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
