Nassau Man Pleads Guilty To Stalking Ex For Four Years
The man, a lawyer, carried out a four-year-long cyberstalking campaign, sending the woman numerous threatening messages and emails.

An Inwood man pleaded guilty on Wednesday to extensively cyberstalking an ex-girlfriend that he only dated for a few months in 2014.
David WAldman, 49, pleaded guilty to one count of cyberstalking. It has a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
According to Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Waldman and the woman ended their relationship in April 2014. Shortly after, Waldman began cyberstalking her until he was arrested four years later.

Waldman sent the woman hundreds of text messages, voicemails, emails and made many posts to social networks where he claimed that she had been diagnosed with bipolar and narcissistic personality disorders, used drugs, made up claims that she was a victim of sexual abuse as a child, and many other claims.
Waldman also repeatedly threatened to show up at her appartment and injure, torture and sexually assault her. He sent emails to her employers claiming her of being a drug user, and threatened to sue her for defamation, theft, trespassing, violating HIPAA and other "illegal behaviors."

During the four years of his stalking, the woman obtained multiple court orders of protection against Waldman.
