Nassau Police Investigating Murder In Inwood

UPDATE, 2:45 P.M.: Police have identified the victim as Walter Perez, 36, of Doughty Boulevard. His cause of death is undetermined. Police say they are still investigating.

ORIGINAL STORY: Nassau police say they are investigating a murder that occurred in Inwood early Saturday morning.

According to police, officers responded to a call to Doughty Boulevard at 2:23 a.m. for a "disturbance involving a male subject." Before the investigation, police say, homicide detectives responded to the scene.
