Nassau Police Saved Man By Restarting His Heart
The man was suffering from cardiac arrest, but quick thinking from the officers saved his life.

Nassau County police saved a man Friday afternoon who was having a heart attack while his friend was driving him in Hewlett.
According to police, at 3:46 p.m., a 64-year-old man, the passenger in a car, began to suffer from cardiac arrest. The driver pulled over and got help from officers at the Fourth Precinct Stationhouse, located at 1699 Broadway. Officer Anthony Albanese and Sgt. James Crawfard evaluated the man and determined he was in cardiac arrest. Using the Automated External Defibrillator the department had, they restored the man's heartbeat.
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.
