
Two men tried to rob a teenage boy in Valley Stream Thursday evening, according to Nassau County Police.
At 5:25 p.m., the 15-year-old victim was walking south on Cornwell Avenue and East Maujer Street when he was confronted by two men, police said. The pair demanded the the victim’s wallet and he cooperated, cops said. There was no money in the teen’s wallet, however, and the men reportedly fled north on Cornwell Avenue.
The victim was not injured during the incident.

Both subjects were described as being around 20 years old and wearing hooded sweatshirts, one gray and one black.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
