Cops: Worker Stole Engagement Ring from Wantagh Home
Brentwood man charged with grand larceny Monday, police said.

A Brentwood man faces charges after stealing an engagement ring from a Wantagh home where he was working, according to Nassau County Police.
While performing work with Complete Basement Systems, Enrique Alfaro, 35, took a gold and diamond engagement that was sitting on a table, cops said. The ring was valued at $8,000.
Alfaro was charged in his workplace Monday at 1:10 p.m. after the ring was discovered at an Islip pawn shop, police said.

Alfaro was charged with third-degree grand larceny. He will be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
