Cops Release Photo of Man Wanted in Woodmere Purse Snatching
Robbery happened in February, police said.
Nassau County Police released a photo Tuesday of a man wanted for shoving a woman and stealing her purse in a Five Towns parking lot in February.
On Feb. 14 at 3:30 p.m., police said the man approached a woman who had just exited her car and was walking toward Key Food on Railroad Avenue.

The man pushed the victim to the ground and forcibly stole her purse before fleeing on foot on Railroad Avenu toward Irving Place, police said. He was later caught on camera getting into a white Ford Ecoline van and headed north on Franklin Place, cops said.
The man was between 19 and 22 years old, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7, thin build, light complexion, and was wearing a covered black hooded sweatshirt, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
