Trio Charged With Series Of Armed Nassau Bank Robberies
Police say they entered the banks with guns, forced employees to the ground, and fled with the cash.

Nassau police arrested three men from Far Rockaway and charged them with a series of armed bank robberies that occurred in Nassau County earlier this year.
According to police, the three men worked together and entered the banks armed with handguns, demanding cash and ordering employees to the floor. Police say they robbed:
- July 14: Roslyn Savings Bank, 75 N. Central Ave., Valley Stream
- Aug. 7: TD Bank, 100 Cedarhurst Ave., Cedarhurst
- Aug. 21: Bridgehampton National Bank, 1218 Broadway, Hewlett
Police located Pedro Benitez, 20, of Beach 14th Street, and Quincy A. Hall, 32, of Beach 26th Street, on Sept. 27 and placed them under arrest without incident. Damilola J. Saka, 24, of Decosta Avenue, was arrested on Oct. 3.

Benitez and Hall are each charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, three counts of criminal use of a firearm and three counts of possession of a weapon. Saka is charged with first-degree robbery, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon. Benitez and Hall were arraigned on Sept. 28. Saka is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
