Two Men Mugged In Broad Daylight While Walking In Nassau

Two men were robbed at knifepoint in broad daylight as they walked in Lawrence Monday afternoon.

According to police, two men were walking west on West Broadway near Rockaway Turnpike just before 3 p.m. when they were approached by two other men. The men pulled out knives and stole a wallet, jewelry, cell phones and other items from the two victims. They then fled north on Rockaway Turnpike.

The two muggers were approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and wearing black shirts and pants. One had light hair and the other had dark hair. The investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could earn a reward if your information leads to an arrest.
