Flushing Subway Slasher At Large, Police Say

The suspect punched the victim and cut his left thigh in the stairwell of the Flushing-Main Street 7 train station, QNS.com reported.

FLUSHING, QUEENS — The person who punched and slashed a man in the stairwell of a Flushing subway station is at large, police said.

Around 4:45 p.m. on Monday, the suspect followed a 34-year-old man down the stairs to the Flushing-Main Street 7 train subway station, QNS.com reported.

Sources told QNS.com that the man and the victim were arguing before the attack happened. The perpetrator punched the victim in the torso and cut his left thigh with an unknown sharp object, then fled the scene.

The victim was brought to a local hospital and received several stitches, according to QNS.com.

Police are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information on the suspect.
