I've acquired a summer internship out of state and need someone to sublet my place for 2.5 months (June 1 to Aug 15).
The place is an apartment in a walkup in Forest Hills (Queens)
It's a mile walk to the E, F, M, & R, but the Q23 is 2 blocks away from the house and takes you right there in 10 mins or less.

All tile floors, no carpet.
There are 2 desks, a free standing shelf set, and an armoire for storage and workspace.
Full-size bed (you will need to provide your own sheets and pillows)
I live with 2 young adult professionals, one male, one female. We all keep to ourselves, are fairly quiet, and hardly ever cross paths.Cleaning is done on an as-needed basis in roommate rotation. When it's your turn, you'd be responsible for cleaning all common areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom).
The backyard has a patio, great for BBQs or just relaxing in the summer.
Free street parking available.
SEE ATTACHED FOR PHOTOS!
To move in, I'll need $1075 from you, plus $40 for a credit check pull (if I pull it for you...if you pull it on your own, don't worry about it. Just send it to me).
Breakdown of move-in fee:
$75 Cleaning Fee
$150 August utilities (to avoid hunting you down after you've moved out)
$850 June rent
After that, you're responsible for:July rent ($850 + June utilities)Half of August rent ($450 + July utilities)
Utilities include in-room cable & wireless internet (premium Verizon Fios), electric, and gas.
Oh, and our landlord is awesome.
I'm looking for:
Someone who is trustworthy and reliable (the lease is still under my name, so I need to trust that you'll keep up your end of the sublease).
Someone who is clean (everyone cleans up after themselves for the most part. We don't go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink. The roommate rotation cleans are just to be thorough.)
Someone who isn't too loud. As said before, we keep to ourselves.
Someone with no pets.
