The Wings of Song music series will present the Broken Reed Saxophone quartet performing a delightful program of jazz and swing in the beautiful sanctuary.
The quartet, featuring Charley Gerard, Lisa Parrott, Tom Olin and Chris Bacas, has earned acclaim for appearances at the Juilliard School, Carnegie Hall, the Blue Note Jazz Club, the Kennedy Center and jazz festivals around the globe. Their individual credits include performances with John Scofield, Washington Musica Viva, Diva Big Band and Buddy Rich, and on Broadway shows.
They have received rave reviews from the Washington Post and Saxophone Journal. The group has been chosen by Lincoln Center Institute to be included in their Emblem Series of NYC area school performances.
