3 Men Wanted For Armed Occupied Home Burglary In Nassau

Police say the men broke into a home, hit the occupant in the head with a pistol and kept him on the floor as they robbed the house.

Three men broke into a home in Freeport Sunday morning, threatening a man at gunpoint while burglarizing the home.

Police say the three men entered a house on Hotchkiss Place through a back door at 11:41 a.m. Once they were inside, one man pulled out a silver handgun and struck a 22-year-old man who was in the home in the head and told him to get on the ground. The men then took various items and cash from the home before fleeing in a silver four-door Nissan.

The man was treated for his injuries at the scene.

All three burglars were about 6 feet tall and 22 to 25 years old. They were wearing dark clothes and black masks.

Police ask anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could earn a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
