Nassau Man Had Stash Of Drugs, Weapons: State Police
Police say a 10-month-long investigation into cocaine trafficking led them to the man.

A Freeport man was arrested early Friday and charged with numerous weapons and drug offenses, state police said.
According to police, Brian J. Crook, 33, of Freeport, was arrested Friday after a 10-month-long investigation into cocaine trafficking in the Freeport area.
State police executed a search warrant at Crook's home, and police say they found cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and illegal guns, including handguns and assault rifles. The troopers also recovered high-capacity magazines, hundreds of rounds of ammunition and cash.

Crook is charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is being held until his arraignment in First District Court in Hempstead.
