Arianne E. Prokos, 21, of Flushing, and Islam I. Ibrahim, 20, of Astoria, were arrested on June 29 and charged with shoplifting from Macy’s, located on Old Country Road in East Garden City.

Jason A. Whitaker, 37, of Westbury, and Frankie J. Ferrante, 31, of Mineola, were arrested on June 30 and charged with shoplifting form JC Penney, located on Old Country Road in East Garden City.

Alexander Papas, 21, of Rockville Centre, was arrested on June 30 and charged with shoplifting from Macy’s, located on Old Country Road in East Garden City.

Shanya E. Crowder, 43, of Richmond Hill, was arrested on July 1 and charged with shoplifting from Dicks Sporting Goods, located on Old Country Road in East Garden City.

Cleotilda Durant, 46, of Brooklyn, was arrested on July 2 and charged with shoplifting from Sephora, located on Old Country Road in East Garden City.

Someone keyed a car parked on Old Country Road in East Garden City on June 29.

Two cars parked on Bedford Avenue in Garden City Park were keyed on June 30.

On June 28, officers arrested a 35-year-old man from Freeport on Meadow Street for driving with four license suspensions, tinted windows and passing a stop sign.

On June 29, officers responded to CVS Pharmacy on Franklin Avenue where a skimming device was found attached to an ATM inside the store. The device was removed by detectives for further investigation.

Officers investigated a report from a 23-year-old whom who said she was walking north on County Seat Drive on June 30 when a man walked up behind her and took a picture of her under her dress. When the woman confronted the man, he fled the scene in an eastbound direction. The subject is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 3 inches to 5 feet, 5 inches, short hair, medium build, wearing a black long sleeve shirt and jeans.

A 7th Street store owner reported that a man entered the store and purchased a lottery ticket with a fraudulent $100 bill on June 30.

Four tires and rims were stolen from a 2017 Honda which was parked in a Lefferts Road Driveway on July 1. The subject(s) used a jack and paving stones to lift the vehicle and remove the tires.

During a commercial vehicle investigation on Old Country Road on July 3, a 22-year-old from Queens was arrested for an outstanding Nassau County District Court Warrant for Reckless Endangerment, driving with four license suspensions, and multiple equipment violations.

A joint investigation on 11th Street by the Garden City Police Department and the Nassau County Probation Department on July 3 resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old from West Hempstead for driving without a court ordered interlock device related to a previous DWI arrest. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation.

Officers arrested a 32-year-old woman from West Hempstead on Rockaway Avenue on July 4 for DWI, excessive speed, and unsafe lane usage.

A vehicle was stopped for traveling at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone on Clinton Road on July 4. The driver, a 24-year-old woman from Hauppauge, was subsequently arrested for aggravated DWI (more than .18% BAC), excessive speed, and uninsured operation.

Officers responded to Nassau Boulevard on July 4 where a 53-year-old male was found unconscious and suffering from an apparent opiate overdose. Officers administered two doses of NARCAN; the aided regained consciousness and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
