Muse Paintbar Uncorks in Garden City
Muse Combines Painting Instruction with Upscale Bar Experience

Combining painting instruction with a wine bar, Muse Paintbar is now open at 837 Franklin Avenue in Garden City. A relaxing oasis for artists and non-artists of all ages and skill levels, Muse Paintbar is place for friends to learn, laugh, relax and celebrate life’s milestones with skilled painting instructors in a warm and inviting space.
Muse is managed by Stan Finch, president and co-founder, and co-founder and lead artist Vanessa Leigh, and run in cooperation with local artists from the Long Island area. “Muse allows us to share our passion and create art in a fun, relaxed atmosphere,” said Leigh. “Art can be intimidating, but we break down barriers by providing simple directions that allow people to gain confidence. By the end of the session, they’ve had fun and can take home an original work of art.”
Muse Paintbar is ideal for after-work relaxation, a girls’ night out, a birthday or bachelorette party, corporate team building, or even a first date. Couples’ paintings, where artists will guide you and your special someone through a joint painting and you will take home two canvases to hang side-by-side, also make Muse the perfect spot to celebrate a recent anniversary or a romantic date night. Family art sessions are also offered 2-3 times per month and feature a painting that the whole family can participate in.
