Nassau Bank Robbed For The Second Time This Year
Police are seeking the public's help to identify and find the man who committed the robbery.

Nassau police are searching for a man who robbed a Hempstead bank Saturday afternoon.
According to detectives, a man entered Chase Bank, located at 136 Fulton Ave., approached one of the tellers and handed them a demand not for money. The teller complied, giving the man an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber then fled the bank heading south. No one was injured.
Police say the robber was a black man in his late 20's or early 30's, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a gray long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt and a black and red baseball cap.

It was the second time this year this bank was robbed.
Detectives ask anyone with information about this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
