Police Arrest Man Wanted For 2016 Nassau Arson
He allegedly lit a man's couch on fire, which soon spread and burned down the house. A 12-year-old girl had to jump out a window to escape.

Police arrested a Hempstead man over the weekend that they say was responsible for a fire that burned down a home in the village in 2016.
According to police, Christful Fouse, 35, got into an argument with a 31-year-old man on June 30, 2016 over money. Because of the argument, police say that Fouse set the man's couch on fire, and the fire spread and soon engulfed the whole home. The man's 12-year-old niece, who was sleeping on the second floor, was forced to jump out of a window to escape the fire.
The girl injured her ankle and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
