WATCH: 3 Shatter Jewelry Displays, Steal Watches in Roosevelt Field

Nassau County Police released surveillance video of three men they say smashed jewelry cases and stole high end watches in Roosevelt Field Mall Tuesday.

The video shows three men walk casually into Tourneau Jewelers at 5:16 p.m., approach a glass jewelry display, and begin smashing it with hammers.

Once the glass shatters, they hoist the long glass casing off of its foundation, and grab handfuls of watches before fleeing the store.

A man runs after them but trips and falls to the ground before the video ends.

The robbery took less than 30 seconds.

Nassau County Police said the three took Rolex watches, which are often valued at several thousand dollars.

One subject was described as a black man, 20-30 years old, and 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10. He was wearing a light-colored sweatshirt with unknown lettering on the front, dark pants, and a skull cap.

A second subject was described as a black man, 20-30 years old, and had a mustache. He was wearing a dark skull cap and dark suede jacket.

A third subject was described as a black man, 20-30 years old, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3, and had a mustache. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark clothing at the time.

The three men were seen in a green Ford pickup truck with gray running boards and were heading east on Ring Road.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
