City Seeks Volunteer Drivers for Glen Cove's Medical Transport Program

The program is looking for people with free time, an excellent driving record and big hearts.

The City of Glen Cove is looking for volunteer drivers to transport residents to any non-emergency doctor, physical therapy, hospital, lab or medical center visits.

To have a Monday through Friday schedule, the Glen Cove Medical Transport Program needs to fill volunteer driver vacancies on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“This is a great program that helps members of our community access the healthcare they need but as demand increases so does our need for volunteer drivers,” Mayor Reggie Spinello said in a press release.
