Submitted by Glen Cove School District
Glen Cove students from Gribbin Elementary School melted the hearts of family members and faculty through entertaining and heartfelt performances at the school’s winter concert.
“The Gift,” written and directed by music teacher JoAnn Criblez, featured a skit presented with precision by Cynthia Van Ommeren’s second grade class. It also included high-energy, musical performances by students in grades K-2, who sang traditional favorites such as “A Marshmallow World,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Put a Little Love in Your Heart.” Each song was accentuated by dance movements, making the musical selections come to life for those in attendance.
