The party consists of Mayoral candidate Tony Gallo and a his slate of City Council candidates.

The Glen Cove United Party will officially appear on the ballot for the Nov. 3 general elections after hundreds of residents petitioned for the party to obtain ballot access.
Mayoral candidate Tony Gallo and his slate of City Council candidates will appear under the Glen Cove United Party, including Nancy Hawkins, John Perrone, Philip Pidot, Carlos Shimabukuro, Efraim Spagnoletti, and Roderick Watson.
The party looks to appeal to both Democrats and Republicans. “Instead of partisan bickering, we need common sense solutions to our major self-inflicted problems: overdevelopment, fiscal mismanagement, and a refusal to speak honestly about our financial crisis,” Gallo said in a press release.

“Glen Cove United will roll back the Spinello tax hikes. We will unwind his multi-million dollar spending sprees. We will end our spiraling debt addiction. We will implement the comptroller’s long-ignored recommendations and restore our City’s good standing. We will not let the fate of our waterfront, YMCA, historic sites and other proposed projects be determined by connected developers and special interests. And as an independent body, we will answer to no bosses, other than the people of Glen Cove.”
