Page One Steakhouse In Glen Cove Closes Its Doors

Page One Steakhouse in Glen Cove is closing its doors on Friday after 48 years, Carol Antonopoulos, whose father Peter Antonopoulos owns the restaurant, told Patch.

Peter Antonopoulos, 83, has owned Page One Steakhouse, located at 90 School St., since it opened in 1969. He also owns another restaurant called The View Grill on the Glen Cove Golf Course.

“Having two restaurants in Glen Cove has gotten to be too much, so we’re merging them together,” Carol Antonopoulos said.

Both Carol Antonopoulos and Page One’s manager of more than 20 years will be moving over to The View.

“He’s tired and wants the two of us over there," Carol Antonopoulos said.

Carol Antonopoulos said she expects Friday to be pretty busy for the restaurant’s last day after serving the community for so long.
