(Glen Cove, NY) Autumn is my favorite time of the year and The View Grill celebrates with A Taste of New England. Lucky diners will have the opportunity to indulge in some traditional New England dishes.
On Thursday, November 7th Chef James and I will prepare starters including Gloucester style Cod Cake with a regional tartar sauce and fresh lemon. Also to start is a delicious Butternut squash Ravioli with burnt butter, parsnips puree with fried parsnip and sage.
Next up is a Fall Harvest Salad with Vermont Cheddar and spiced walnuts sprinkled over shredded Brussel Sprouts, carrots, red cabbage and a smoked tomato vinaigrette.

Roast Maple Brined Fresh Ham is on the menu for your entrée. Side dishes include maple glazed creamed turnips with pearl onions and mushrooms, parslied red bliss potatoes and rosemary scented pan gravy to top your meal.
No dinner is complete without Grandma’s Apple Pie with rum sauce and whipped cream.
