Woman Slashes Her Boyfriend In The Ribs Near Union Square: NYPD

UNION SQUARE, NY — A woman slashed a man in the ribs near Union Square early Tuesday, cops said.

The woman, 26, got into an argument with a 27-year-old man believed to be her boyfriend, and then slashed him near the rib cage at 14th Street near Union Square about 4:35 a.m., according to an NYPD spokesperson.

Police said the woman was taken into custody.

The boyfriend was rushed to Bellevue Hospital but was in stable condition, police said.
