Lake Success, NY –At a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 12, 1111 Marcus Avenue & AREA Property Partners welcomed new tenant Display Technologies LLC to the 94-acre site that was once home to the United Nations. Display Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IMI Plc., and an industry-leading point of purchase equipment supplier, has signed a 10-year lease and moved their headquarters from College Point, Queens, bringing with them 61 jobs and a promise to create four additional jobs within three years. “We are excited and pleased to welcome Display Technologies to 1111 Marcus Avenue,” said George Mullen, General Manager for AREA Property Partners. Display Technologies received tax incentives from the State of New York through the Empire State Development and the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). In his remarks, Nassau County Executive Mangano stated, “Nassau County is working hard to create new jobs and the IDA has been playing a major role in bringing businesses to Nassau County and revitalizing local communities.”
