 The impact of parenting
styles (permissive vs. authoritarian), parental fitness, personality disorders
and other mental health issues on family relationships and custody decisions
,

·
Mediation as a form of alternative dispute
resolution,

Role of the Forensic Evaluator to assess and make
recommendations,

·
Role of Mental Health Professionals to assist families
with these issues and reduce conflict,

provide a legal update on NY Family Law,
including trends in spousal support
awards
, gender neutral custody and
shared parenting
, and the impact of
no-fault divorce
.
