• NCPD: Great Neck Man Assaults Elderly Woman Following Altercation Over Unleashed Dog (longisland.com) — Police say a 47-year-old Great Neck man was arrested after allegedly pushing a 76-year-old woman to the ground during an argument over his unleashed dog on her lawn, injuring her left side. The incident happened Monday afternoon in Great Neck, and the victim was taken to a hospital, while the suspect faces a second-degree assault charge and awaits arraignment in Hempstead.
