PATV to Debut Local News Show

North Shore News coming to Great Neck.

PATV will cablecast a new program starting later this month that will focus on the local news scene in the Great Neck area.

The show, entitled North Shore News, will focus on local news and happenings during two programs each month..

The new program features host Stephanie Savage, along with writers; Ilene Malakoff, Rebecca Farina, Elizabeth Marino and Ben Ratner, who also serves as the producer and director of the show. 

PATV Executive Director, Shirley Ann Bruno, is the executive producer. Crew members include PATV Director of Technical Operations, Erica Bradley; character generator Christopher Johnston; teleprompter Alison Walker and on cameras are  Ilena A. Malakoff and Rebecca Farina.

Showtimes this month are July 11 at 2:40 p.m.; July 14 at 7:30 p.m.; July 17 at 5 p.m., July 20 at 2 p.m.; July 23 at 8:30 p.m.; July 24 at 5 p.m., July 25 at 2:40 p.m. July 26 at 8:30 p.m.; July 29 at 11p.m. and July 30 at 8:30 p.m. on Channel 20 (Cablevision) and Channel 37 (Verizon FIOS). 

Starting in August, the program will have a morning time slot of 11 a.m. with an encore cablecast at 11:15 a.m.  

PATV is the Public Access TV Corporation’s access station cablecasting on Channel 20 (Cablevision) and Channel 37 (Verizon) in the incorporated villages of Great Neck/North Shore: Flower Hill, Great Neck, Great Neck Estates, Great Neck Plaza, Kensington, Kings Point, Lake Success, Munsey Park, North Hills, Plandome, Plandome Manor, Plandome Heights, Russell Gardens, Saddle Rock and Thomaston.
