Water Main Break Shuts Part Of Northern Blvd. In Manhasset: PD

MANHASSET, NY — The morning commute was snarled Tuesday morning as Northern Boulevard between Udall and Allen drives in Manhasset was closed to traffic following a water main break, Nassau County Police said.

The highly traversed roadway was shut down just before 5 a.m. to allow crews to make repairs to the water main, according to police. Motorists are being advised to take an alternate route to avoid the area as the roadway could be closed throughout the day. A representative from the Manhasset-Lakeville Water District was not immediately available for comment.
