Elderly Woman Knocked To Ground In Harlem Assault: Police
A man punched a 75-year-old woman on a Harlem sidewalk on Sunday, causing her to fall to the ground, police said. A suspect is being sought.
HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for a man accused of punching an elderly woman on a Harlem sidewalk on Sunday.
Around 3:14 p.m. Sunday, the victim, a 75-year-old woman, was walking along Lenox Avenue near West 118th Street when an unidentified man approached her.
The man punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground, police said. The man then fled west along 118th Street.

The woman, who suffered cuts to her lip and swelling to her face, declined medical attention. Police released surveillance images showing the man shortly before the assault happened, about a block away.
