Explosives Reports Unfounded At East Harlem High School: NYPD
Police investigated a possible explosive device Thursday at Cristo Rey New York High School on East 106th Street.

EAST HARLEM, NY — The NYPD investigated reports of an explosive device at an East Harlem high school, a department spokesman said. No explosives were found during the search, an NYPD spokesman said.
The device was reported around 2 p.m. at Cristo Rey New York High School on East 106th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, an NYPD spokesman said. The NYPD emergency services unit was called in to aid with the investigation, an NYPD spokesman said.
No injuries were reported at the location, police said.

Cristo Rey New York High School is an independent school that was founded in 2004, according to its website. The school is affiliated with the religion congregations Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus, the De La Salle Christian Brothers and the Jesuits, according to its website.
