Harrison Baseball Remembers Lost Teammate at Game
In the 2nd Annual Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Game, the Harrison High School Huskies will play the Rye Garnets.
Join the Harrison High School varsity baseball team May 7 for the 2nd Annual Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Baseball Game.
Gurgitano, a popular 16-year-old junior and baseball player at Harrison, died at home of a rare spontaneous stroke Nov. 8, 2014.
The HHS Huskies will host the Garnets of Rye at Silver Lake Park in West Harrison to honor their former teammate. Game time is 4 p.m.

"Andrew was an outstanding pitcher and baseball player, an excellent student and the perfect role model," said Mariann Zink. President of Friends of Harrison Baseball. "He exemplified hard work, integrity and sportsmanship both on and off the field."
